Charles R. Robbins, age 76, of Richmond, died Tuesday afternoon (December 23, 2014) at his residence. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on July 7, 1938 ro Earl and Minnie Robbins and had lived here most of his life. He was the owner/operator of Robbins Painting Contractors for 38 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Whitewater Lodge #159 F & AM, Tarum Shrine and the Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Carla Flack; children, Charles Rick (Mona) Robbins of Winchester, CA, Steven (Levona) Robbins of Mason, OH, Pamela (Leonard) Stewart of Seven Mile, OH, Charlotte Hudson of New Castle, IN, Teresa Cassady of Richmond; brothers and sisters, Burl (Connie) Robbins of Richmond, Norma Nicely of Mt. Vernon, KY, Virginia (Frank) Durham of Mt. Vernon, KY, Earl W.. (Pat) Robbins of Niles Michigan, Bertha (Denny) Rice of Richmond, Mary (Joe) Hartman of Richmond, Linda Horn of Higginsport, Ohio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Minnie Robbins, father Earl Robbins, step-mother Martha Robbins, son Robert Robbins, brother Jesse Robbins and sister Rachel Bailey.
