Mary Elizabeth, Wilson Stewart Robbins of Westfield, died Aug. 10, 2003. She was born Aug. 16, 1907 in Bakers Corner. Mrs. Robbins worked for Biddle Precision and Components of Sheridan for nine years and cared for elderly people in her home for several years. She was a member of Bakers Corner Weslyan Church. She was the church's secretary for 30 years. Mrs. Robbins was a 1925 graduate of Cicero High School. Her hobbies included oil painting, sewing, writing and traveling. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thurs. Aug. 14 in Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, with calling from 2 to 8 p.m. Wed. Aug. 13. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fishers. She was the widow of Linzy Lee Stewart. Survivors include husband Myron Robbins; son L. Eugene "Gene" and wife Mary Stewart; daughters Mary Lee (Delbert) Jones, Margaret Ann (Kenneth) Stewart; step-children Joan Heine, Barbara Hiatt, Rev. Dale Robbins; nine grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Kathie Stewart; brothers John William and Myron L. Wilson; step-children Myron Robbins, Jr. and Helen Sanders.
