Mr. A. W. Roark, prominent Gainiesville business man, died Friday afternoon at his residence in Gainesville of pneumonia following influenza. He was 67 years of age.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in Gainesville.
The well-known business man was a native of Hall county. He was actively engaged in his industrial affairs until the illness which caused his death, and was a devoted member of the Methodist church. For many years he had served as superintendent of the Antioch church Sunday school.
Surviing him are his wife; one son, Fred Roark, of Gainesville; four daughters, Mrs. Belle Martin, and the Misses Eula, Mary and Margaret Roark, all of Gainesville; two brothers, G. R. Roark of Atlanta, and V. C. Roark, of Clermont, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Gittens, and Mrs. J. R. Mayson, both of Gainesville, and a large number of nieces and nephews.
