Funeral services for Wallace S. Ritter, 58, who died at his home, 231 East Fourth street at 9:10 o'clock Monday morning after an illness of eight months following a stroke of paralysis, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the late home, the Rev. Ezra Egly officiating and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.



Mr. Ritter was born Apr 1, 1870 in Michigan City, the son of the late Simon and Martha Ritter. He was a machinist at M.C Riliable (1927 city directory). Mr. Ritter was married May 31, 1899 here to Miss Elizabeth Faulhaber, who survives him with two daughters, Miss Marie Ritter, Mrs. T. Lindquist, and one son, Wallace S. Ritter, Jr., all of Michigan City. Two sisters, Mrs Josephine Rose, of Brainard, Minn. and Mrs. David Henton, of Los Angeles, Calif., also survive.

Mr Ritter was a member of the Presbyterian church and was affiliated with the Modern Woodmen of America.
