Maxine Virginia Gill, 95, of Woodstock, Virginia, widow of Charles L. Gill, Sr. died Saturday, January 04, 2014 at Consulate Health Care.
Mrs. Gill was born in Shenandoah County, Virginia on July 2, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and May B. Ritenour.
She was preceded in death by Harry Gill and Daniel Robin Gill.
Mrs. Gill is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Levine and husband, Mike of Columbia, MD and Gloria Fitzhugh and husband, Don of Churchton, MD; a son, Charles L.Gill, Jr. and wife, Millie of Woodstock; a daughterin- law, Susan Gill of Woodstock; five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8 PM at Valley Baptist Church where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM with Pastor James D. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Valley Baptist Christian School.
