Meade County (KY) Messenger, 17 Nov 1938 The death angel visited the home of Mr. Chas. Rltchie November 7th 1938 and claimed for its own, Mrs. Ola Ritchie, age 65 years. She was a loving, kind and affectionate wife and mother. She had been in ill health for the past year, and knowing her condition was getting worse bore her sufferings and troubles as a brave soldier. All was done that loving hands could do to relieve her of her sufferings of pneumonia and complicat ions, as her children were constantly by her bedside, praying and trying to relieve her of her pains. But God loved her best and called her to His happy home; above, where He had prepared for her a time of enjoyment with Him and the angels, never to have an end. She leaves her husband, C. C; Ritchie and ten-children; Miss Maude Ritchie, Mrs. John Payne, Mrs. Jake Sipes, Mrs. Jodie Thompson, Mrs. B. C. Redmond; Sam, Bernard. Elbert and Ralph and Gas Ritchie of Manitoba, Canada. Oh Mother how we miss you, Our home will be the same no more, But we know that your are resting, Just beyound the other shore.
