Mrs. Rising was born July 30, 1916, in Frankfort, to Claude and Bertha Botts Tull.
She was a 1930 graduate of Clarks Hill High School and attended St. Catherine's School of nursing in Chicago. She had been a registered nurse and later worked in advertising for two Indianapolis shopping centers, East Gate and Southern Plaza. She also had worked for the Lafayette Journal and Courier and WASK radio. She moved to Regency Place from Indianapolis about a year ago and had been a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Layia Sue) Bagshaw of rural Mulberry; two brothers, Hubert Crum of Lafayette and Charles Crum of Dayton; a sister, Mary Lou Corbin of Marshall, Illinois; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Five brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Johns officiating.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
