Charles H. Rishel

Charles H. Rishel, 83, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007, in Uniontown Hospital.

He was born October 23, 1923, in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late James and Sarah Kunkel Rishel.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Melissa Rishel, a sister, Mary Rishel and a brother, Harold Rishel.

Surviving are his stepsons: Jerry W. Gray of Clarksville, Tennessee, Melvin G. Gray of Massachusetts, Robert Daniel Gray of Uniontown; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Charles was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. He was retired from the United States Post Office, was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and was a member of Laurel Lodge 651 F. & A.M.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday until 11 a.m. the hour of the service.

Entombment will be in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum, Uniontown, Pa.
