Madge Burke, 97, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 26 at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

She was born October 26, 1913 in Walker, daughter of Oliver Morton and Roseabell Tripp Risdon. She married Donald F. McDonald December 26, 1936 in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death. She married Robert C. Burke June 16, 1950. He also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Burke worked for the WCF&N Raiolroad as a clerk for 15 years, and later for Sunray DX Oil Company for five years.

Survived by one daughter, Nancy (Butch) Leskun of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Robert (Julie) Leskun and Michelle (Tim) Weber; and five great-grandchildren, Mike, Sam, and Nicole Leskun, and Max and Joe Weber.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Garland and Charles Risdon; three sisters, Hazel Risdon, Thelma Straw, and Luciell McPhail; and special friend, Max Kaiser.
