Mrs. Lydia Nichols was born in Poy Sippi on Sept. 5, 1883, daughter of Jacob and Henriette Ringling, and was married on July 4, 1903, to Albert Nichols, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1906. Mrs. Nichols was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Lydia died Monday, 23 October at 12:05 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center at the age of 89. She had been ill two years. She left two sons, Fred Nichols, Oshkosh, and Harvey Nichols, Omro; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, 26 October at 1:30 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Ortwin Hanson, Waupaca, officiating. Burial was at Borth Cemetery. Friends could call at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of services.
