Jane R. Dhue of Greensboro, Md., died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Del. She was 75 years old. Born in Wilmington, Del., on July 26, 1936, Mrs. Dhue was the daughter of the late Clarence Cherry Ringgold and Erma Durnall Ringgold. She had spent most of her life in Caroline County, Md. She was a 1954 graduate of Ridgely High School. On March 15th, she and her husband, Noble J. Dhue, Jr. of Greensboro, celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. Mrs. Dhue was an Instructor of Nursing at the McQueen-Gibbs-Willis School of Nursing in Easton, Md. for 35 years, retiring in 1998. She earned her B.S.N. at the University of Maryland and her Master's Degree in Psychology at Washington College in Chestertown, Md. She was a member of the Ridgely Church of the Brethren and held several offices. She was also active in Delta Kappa Gamma, Nu Chapter, the First State Antique Tractor Club, Bay Country AACA, and the Greensboro Town and Country Club. She loved to sew and cook and enjoyed being with family and friends. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dhue is survived by two sons, Wayne C. Dhue and his wife Heather of Goldsboro, Md. and Noble J. Dhue, III and his wife Stephanie of Oakton, Va.; one daughter, Donna Dhue Wilkins and her husband Neal of Arnold, Md.; two sisters, Peggy Hutchison and her husband Stanley of Ridgely and Marian Garey and her husband Jerry of Greensboro; and four grandchildren, Gordon, Andrew, Emily, and Helen. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2011, at the Ridgely Church of the Brethren, 110 Park Ave. in Ridgely, Md. Friends may visit with the family at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. at 12 S. Second Street in Denton from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2011 or from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the church before the service on Wednesday. The interment will be in the Greensboro, Md. Cemetery.
