Mary Alice Riney, 67, of rural Canton, died Monday, May 23, 1994, in Blessing Hospital at Quincy, Illinois. Born Dec. 30, 1926, near Kahoka, she was a daughter of Clark and Katherine Kutcher Wright. She married Donald Riney on April 23, 1953, in Arkansas. He died Jan. 27, 1991. Mrs. Riney was a homemaker, and a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Patrick. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Etta Belle Scott of Williamstown; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Harry Alfred Wright, and one sister Stell Irene Kirchner. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 1994, at 10 a.m., in the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church at St. Patrick, with Rev. Michael Murphy officiating. Music will be provided by Lucille Danker, organist, and the St. Patrick Men's Choir. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Krueger, Jr., Norman Roach, Jim Scott, Don Scott, Bennie Scott and James Scott.
