Agnes Lorraine Rinaca, 79, of Stanley, died on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1931, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late William Ray and Beulah Clara Jenkins Courtney. Mrs. Rinaca had worked for the Virginia Oak Tannery. Up until its closing, she was employed as a lab assistant. She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church. On Jan. 11, 1953, she married Eunice Carrol Rinaca, who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are five brothers, Ray Jr. and Edward Courtney, both of Luray, Archie and Forest Courtney, both of Stanley, and Roy Courtney of Front Royal. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Louderback. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Church.
A memorial service for Agnes Rinaca will be held at 4 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 21, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Shenandoah.
