Mrs. Rachel Frazier, the wife of Rev. D. A. Frazier, of Maysville, W. Va., was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-car acciden on Route 220 between Petersburg and Morefield.
Eight other persons, including the Rev. Frazier, who was formly pastor of the Jones Spring E.U.B. Charge, were injured. Rev. Frazier is in critical condition in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Va.
State Police said the accident which was one of the worst in Hardy county in a number of years, occurred during a light rain when the vehicle operated by Rev. Frazier passed another auto and crashed into an oncoming car.
Besides her husband and father, J. A. Rinaca, Shenandoah, Va., mrs. Frazier is survived by four children - Mrs. Venusta Burkehart of Brunswick; Misses Ruth and Esther Frazier and David Frazier, all at home; four grandchildren, five sisters - Mrs. Eddie Walters, Mrs. John Davis and Mrs. Kathleen Pitts, all of Harrisonburg; Mrs. Joe Eye and Mrs. Stanley Eye, both of Elkton, Va.
Services for Mrs. Frazier were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST, at Elkton (Va.) E.U.B. Church.
