Born in Marlboro County, she was the daughter of the late John Rufus and Corrie Bell Brewer Riley. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by 3 sons, Jimmy Bryant and wife, Shirley, and Jerry Bryant and wife, Doris, all of Society Hill, and Rufus Bryant and wife, Glenda, of Lillington, N.C.; one daughter, Frances Ann Parker and husband, Bogan, of Society Hill; one sister, Juanita Jones of Bennettsville; 9 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Henry Bryant, daughter, Nancy Ruth Bryant, one grandson, George H. Parker, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Harris Creek Baptist Church with burial in Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery.
