Savannah - Sheila Riley Barbos 57, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida on November 22, 1949 to Elmer Wilson Riley and Ruby Davis Riley.

Mrs. Barbos spent most of life in Savannah and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, frequent visits to the Waffle House, music and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Riley, her sister, Sharon Riley Perkins and her step-son, Iosif Barbos.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Achim Barbos of Savannah, her son, Michael "Tony" Moore and wife Susan of Savannah, her son, Chris Lowery and wife Kristy of Savannah, her daughter, Jamie Wohler and husband Mike of Rincon, her daughter, Heather Sheley of Pooler, her daughter Nadia Harris and husband Casey of Pooler, her mother, Ruby Davis Riley of Savannah, her grandchildren, Samantha Moore, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Christopher Lowery, Riley Wohler and Aidan Harris. Also surviving are four step-children and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bible Baptist Church with burial in Bonaventure Cemetery.
