Samuel Joseph "Joe" Riherd 81 of Glasgow died Saturday May 24, 2014 at the Barren County Healthcare facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late W.T. Riherd & the late Mary White Young Riherd. Mr. Riherd was a retail sales executive. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War and also served with the 623rd F.A. Kentucky National Guard. He was of the Baptist faith.


The family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life service will be scheduled for a later date. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born at Sturgis, the daughter of the late Carl and Willie Logan Sale. Her husband was the late Samuel Joseph "Joe" Riherd, who died May 24, 2014.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Riherd chose cremation and a Celebration of Life Service at her graveside at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27.
