Carolyn Rigsby, 60, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009. She was born July 25, 1949 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Clarence Thacker and Geraldine (Hill) Thacker.
She is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Black, her step-father Audrie Black, and a step-brother Charlie Black.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 44 years, Melvin Rigsby of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughter Meshelia McCormick and husband Jeremy of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a son Chris Rigsby of Trout Run, Pennsylvania; her father and stepmother Clarence & Bonnie Thacker of Pearcy, AR; 3 sisters and brother-n-laws Brenda and Eddy Short of Royal, Arkansas, Connie & Tracy Fisher of Royal, AR, and Vicki & Jimmy Robbins of Hot Springs, AR. 2 grandsons Caden McCormick of Hot Springs, AR, and Chase Rigsby of Trout Run, PA. 3 stepsisters Patsy Arthur & her husband Barry of Little Rock, AR, Linda Hibbs & her husband Ray of Royal, AR, and Carol Green of Royal, AR.
Pallbearers will be Mike Rigsby, Tommy Rigsby, Tyler Sandage, Tommy Humphrey, Johnny Holder, and Benito Ugartechea.
Honorary Pallbearer are Mark, Mary & Michelle Terry, Dr. Neeraj Baharany, Dr. Richard Finch, Randy & Sheila Pratt, Deanna Holder, Alvin Miller and Susie Hutchinson.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, September 19th. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 20th at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Kemp & Bro. George Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Creek Cemetery, Lonsdale, AR.
