Robin Joan Ries went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the age of 57 years. She enjoyed traveling and was employed with USAA for over 38 years. Robin was a member of the Hermann Sons Pershing Lodge #160 and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Choir and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gerard's Catholic Church. Robin was also a member of the Altar Society/Holy Name Society and served as Treasurer in 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Earleen Meyer Ries. Robin is survived by her brothers and sister, Richard A. Ries and wife Carol, Sharon Dziuk and husband George, Russell Ries and wife Dorothy; nieces and nephews, George Dziuk III and wife Monica, Thomas M. Dziuk, Adam C. Dziuk, Amanda Massotti and husband Nathan, Kimberly Ries; great-nephew, Mateo Massotti. Visitation will be held at St. Gerard's Catholic Church beginning at 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 28th, followed by a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29th. Interment to follow in St. Jerome's Catholic Cemetery.
