John Edward Ridgway, (Johnny) 66, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 2, 2003 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Agnes Ridgway. He was retired from the dental supply business, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a member of Bonsack United Methodist Church. He was a Past Master and member of Melrose Masonic Lodge #139 A.F. & A.M., a member of Murray Royal Arch Chapter #22, Bayard Commandery #15, the Scottish Rite of the Roanoke Valley and the Kazim Shrine Temple, where be belonged to the Kazim Band, Kazim Golf Club and the Shrine Club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Doris Ridgway; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Todd King, Robin and Mike Campbell, all of Roanoke; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, Lindsey and Blake King, Brett and Cassi Meador, Tiffany, Coty and Brooke Campbell. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Oakey's East Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites by Melrose Masonic Lodge.
