|Birth: ||Dec. 16, 1791|
New York County (Manhattan)
New York, USA
|Death: ||Oct. 16, 1882|
Step-daughter of David Ridgway and mother-in-law of Oscar Young. Her biological father's circumstances are unknown other than his last name, DuBois. After his death, Rachel (Berger) DuBois married David Ridgway when Elizabeth was a teenager.
Half-sister of Jane Woodburn, also buried at Rome.
In her old age, Elizabeth gave her sock full of money to Philip P. Bliss (her granddaughter's husband) so he could attend the "Normal School". Without this generous donation, perhaps the world would have lost the great musical contributions of Bliss.
