OBITUARY :
WINFIELD HAMPTON RIDGELY, 80, died at 7:30 a.m. today at his home near Taneytown after an illness of several years.

He was a carpenter.

Born in Howard County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tivis Ridgely.

Among his survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma M. Ridinger Ridgely, and sister, Mrs. Virginia Prim, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the C. O. Fuss and Sons Funeral Home, Taneytown, with the Rev. Philip Bower officiating. Interment will be in the Harbaugh Cemetery, Rouzerville.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
