Nancy Lee Carlson

Nancy Lee Carlson, age 92, of Austin, died Monday, December 13, 2004, after a short illness. She was born May 4, 1912, in Coleman County, Texas. Her husband Philip A. Carlson preceded her in death in 1992. They had been married 58 years. Together they owned and operated Nan's Dress Shop in Austin. Nancy enjoyed living at Westminster Manor where she will be missed by her many friends. She is survived by three sisters, Marie Eubanks of Las Cruces, N.M., Aliene Heallen of Galveston, Texas, Emma Lou Starley of Carson City, Nev., their families and nephew Russell Chalberg of Austin. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Austin Memorial Park followed by a Memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Westminster Manor. Those wishing to do so may send a memorial to Tarrytown United Methodist Church, 2601 Exposition Blvd., Austin, Texas 78703.

Nancy also had two brothers, John Preston Riddle Jr. who died in April of 1988 and Louis H. Riddle who died in December of 1986.
