Funeral held at the 7th Day Adventist Church.
Buried in the Rickard graveyard at Rileyville, Va. 6 children, 5 brothers & 1 sister. (PNC issue 24 Nov 1937)

John immigrated from Romania to the USA in 1912 (Ref: 1930 Census).
He was married 23 Sep 1922 in Summit County, OH to Ella May Rickard (1901-1937). Their marriage certificate shows they were both living at 25 Gottwalt Street at the time. John was employed by the Firestone Company. The certificate shows he was age 28 on 22 May 1922, giving a DOB 22 May 1894, and that he was born in Juritec, Romania. The handwriting is poor and the town has yet to be correctly identified. His parents are John Oroian and Florea (later Florence) Toth, both of Romania.
John and Ella May had four children:

Irene M. (born 1925)
William Henderson (1926-1974)
Lucas Mitru (1928-1996)
John was married 6 Jan 1940 in Danville, VA to Mary Elizabeth (Dalton) Hughes.
