LORENE E. BRYANT, age 83, of Greenfield, Indiana, formerly of Emerson, Kentucky passed away Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield, Indiana.
Lorene was born in Emerson, Kentucky, September 2, 1932 to the late Stant and Beulah Howard Richmond. Lorene worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation here in Vanceburg and also for the Case Incorporated in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Shirley, Indiana.
Lorene was an accomplished musician playing the guitar. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Lorene was involved in the foster parent and grandparent program in Knightstown, Indiana.
Surviving are two daughters- Cathy Cooper of Union, Kentucky, and Tammy and her husband (Winston) Strunk of Greenfield, Indiana.
One son- Scotty and his wife (Annie) Estelle of Indianapolis, Indiana.
One brother- Dale and his wife (Imogene) Richmond of Emerson, Kentucky.
8- grandchildren and 10- great-grandchildren also survive who will mourn her passing.
Preceded in death beside her parents was her husband Jack Bryant in 1990. 3-brothers- Rufus Richmond, Carlos Richmond, and Kermit Richmond. 5- sisters- Daisy (Bea) Pendlum, Kathryn Skidmore, Winona Pierce, Faye Back, and Audrey LaVallee.
