Eileen Norma Richardson Chambers, age 90 of Pennsville died Tuesday October 30, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred Cake Richardson. Eileen was a longtime Pennsville resident.

She was employed as a cashier for the Acme Market, Pennsville where she retired following many years service.

She was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaigns. She was a former volunteer for the Salem County Meals on Wheels, member of the Penns Grove American Legion, and the Delaware Chapter of the Navy Waves.

Survived by a daughter, Melinda S. Doyle and a son, Scott S. Chambers and his wife Mary M., grandchildren, Kevin T. Doyle, Kathleen S. Doyle, Brittany E. Chambers Salton and her husband Jason R. and Benjammin R. Chambers. Predeceased by her husband Ralph Franklin Chambers, Sr., son, Ralph F. Chambers, Jr., brothers, Ted and Harry Richardson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at the LAUGHREY FUNERAL HOME, Pennsville where friends may call prior to the service. Burial with honors will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
