Chrystal Karon Richardson, 68 of Jacksonville, died Friday, June 20, 2014. Karon was born January 5, 1946 in Little Rock to the late Fred Watson and Hazel (Morgan) Wilson.

She is also preceded in death by a son, Eric Wayne Simons and brothers Ronald, Lyndel Wayne and Ollen Dee Wilson.

Karon retired from Graphic Packaging after 35 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was a great cook, especially known for her chocolate and coconut cream pies. Her family was the most important thing to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife to her husband of 16 years, Kenneth Richardson of Jacksonville; daughter Cindy Denny of Jacksonville; siblings Harold Wilson of Conway, Portia Murray of Sherwood, and Diane Rood (Vic) of Lupton, Michigan; grandchildren Heather Simons, Erica Denny, and Angelina Denny; and great-grandchildren Jacey, Carson, and Jaleah.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday, June 23, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville.

Funeral service will be at 1pm Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
