Aysel Merryanne Richards, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Istanbul, Turkey. A resident for 23 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by one son, Erol Yesin of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three daughters, anne Yesin, Emel Richardson and Katherine Lofthus, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Yuksel Giovannitti of Turkey; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Private graveside services will follow.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
