Bertha Stone Aadnesen Reeder Richards, 90, former Ogden, Utah resident, died Sunday in Pocatello.
She was born October 28, 1892 in Ogden, Utah, to Frederick and Esther Hutchins Stone.
She married Christopher Aadnesen August 12, 1912, in Ogden, Utah. following his death, she married William H Reeder on September 12, 1934. After Williams death, she married I.L. Richards Feb. 14, 1964. He died in 1981.
She was a former general president of Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association of the LDS Church from 1948-1961. She was a mission matron of the New England Stake Mission while her second husband was mission president from 1941-1947. She also had been superintendent of the Lion House and the Beehive House in Salt Lake City. She had been a delegate to the National Conference of Women in Washington D. C..
Survivors include a son, Grant C. Aadnesen, Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter, Ortel (Warren W.) Hoit, Pocatello; 5 grand children; 11 great grandchildren; 4 stepsons, William H. Reeder III, Dallas, Texas; Ray L., and Jack A. Richards, Ogden, Utah; and James C. Richards, Virginia; two step daughters, Edith (Paul) Thorsted and Afton Richards, both of Ogden, Utah; and a brother, Leslie F. Stone, San Francisco, California.
