Anita Basley Rice, 70, of 1122 Cedar Court, died Thursday (Dec 15, 1988) at Humana Hospital-University of Louisville. She was a native of Frankfort. Survivors: her husband, Arnold Rice; two daughters, Dorothy D. Anderson and Betty Thomas; four brothers, Eugene Basley of Lansing, Mich., Lindsey Basley of Albuquerque, N. M., Robert Basley of Hazard and James Basley; two sisters, Mary E. McGee and Virginia L. Holmes, both of Greenville, S. C.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Galilee Baptist Church, 3918 W. Broadway, with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation at G. C. Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broadway, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
