Lucy (Marciante) Ricciardi, of Quincy, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011 at age 95. A homemaker, she was born and raised in Boston and lived in Quincy for the past 55 years. The beloved wife of the late Rocco Ricciardi, Lucy was the loving mother of Phyllis Ash and her late husband James, and Joan Kareem, both of Quincy; dear grandmother of Steven Ash, Kristine Prewitt and her husband Roger and Michael Ash, all of Quincy, and Marc Kareem and his wife Karen of Norwood; great grandmother of 7; sister of the late Anna Ciaccio, Mary Siciliano, Lillian Guinta, Rita Gioia, Frances Bernier and Frank Marciante and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
