JASONVILLE -- Marilyn June (Rhodes) Anderson, 60, died at 7:10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born Sept. 12, 1949 in Taylor County, Ky.

Surviving are her husband, Walter C. Anderson of Jasonville, whom she married on Oct. 4, 1994; son and daughter-in-law Mike D. and Belinda Rehmel of Lyons; daughter and son-in-law Jan and Pat Gilbert of Lewis; step-daughter Maisie Chantel Anderson of Indianapolis; sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley and Robert Brinson of Linton, Linda Lee and Bill Russell of Linton, Linda Sue and Steve Knight of New Albany; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Bonnie Rogers of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Nichole June Gilbert, Derek Gilbert, Lacey Gilbert, Erica Gilbert, Devin Rehmel and Whitney Rehmel; great-grandson, Cole Gilbert, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Wanda Bryant, and brother, Charles Rogers.

She was a homemaker, a Linton-Stockton High School graduate of the Class of 1968, member of the Dugger Church of Christ, and the Ellis Community Bunco Club. Marilyn loved to crochet, was an avid reader, enjoyed writing poetry, and loved her grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service Thursday at the Cox Funeral Home.

Funeral service is at 1 p.m. on Thursday, with the Bro. Nick Moore officiating. Interment will be at Dugger Cemetery.
