Mrs. Nannie L. Leonard, wife of Howard S. Leonard, died at her home, 1309 1/2 Second street, at 5:30 o'clock Thursday evening, a few hours after giving birth to male twins during the afternoon.

Deceased's maiden name was Nannie L. Rhodes. She was born in Huntingdon county, August 13, 1874, and had resided in the city for the past fifteen years. She was a member of the Second United Brethren church and is survived by her husband and these children; Howard, James, Chester and male twins. She is also survived by her step mother, Mrs. Mary Rhodes, of Fairview, and these brothers, sisters and step brothers; Charles E. Rhodes, George and Harry Houck of this city; Mrs. Alice Tibbens, of Wheeling, W.Va,. and William and Maggie Rhodes, of Montana. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services being conducted at the house and interment being made in Greenwood cemetery.

Howard Samuel Leonard, of 717 Fifth avenue, died at 7:31 o'clock yesterday morning at his home after an illness of four years.

Born April 27, 1867, at Charlottsville, Pa., he was the son of James and Martha (Aikens) Leonard, both deceased. The family moved to Altoona while he was still small. He entered the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad company and retired in 1933 as a brakeman after 42 years of service.

Members of the family include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Leonard, four sons to a former marriage, Harry U., of Detroit, Mich., James E., of Pittsburg and Chester and Claude of Altoona; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Dessie Cramer of Kent, O;, Mrs. Lydia Patton and John Leonard, both of Altoona and nine grandchildren.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ.

Friends will be received at the Myers funeral home after 9 o'clock this morning.
