Mrs. Aline Pellum Rhoden, age 77, of Macclenny, FL, died Monday, February 12th, at St. Vincents Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL from a sudden heart attack. Aline was born in Macclenny on January 6, 1931 to the late George H. Pellum, Sr. and Ida Mae Nipper Pellum. She was a lifelong resident of Macclenny and attended the Macclenny Church of God for the last 58 years. She was employed for over thirty years and retired as a switch-board operator at Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Rhoden of Macclenny, FL; her daughter, Angie (Harold) Griffis of Macclenny, FL; three sons, Riley (Kathy) Rhoden of Macclenny, FL, Daniel Boone (Kathy) Rhoden of Leesburg, FL and Jody (Lisa) Rhoden of Tampa, FL; one sister, Jeanne (Bobby) Brooks of Baldwin, FL; two half-brothers, Ray Pellum and Nathan "Sonny" Pellum of FL; one half-sister, Joyce Dukes of Florahome, FL; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, February 15th, in the Macclenny Church of God with Rev. Shannon Conner, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL. Visitation will be at her church Thursday, February 14th from 6 to 8 P.M. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, FL is in charge of arrangements.
