PITTSBURG - Services for Mary C. Reynolds, 76, of Pittsburg, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, with Virgil Faires, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Reynolds died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at a Tyler medical center.

She was born May 16, 1933, in Houston, to Talmage Callicoatte and Lottie Free Callicoatte, both deceased. Mrs. Reynolds was graduated from Pittsburg High School as valedictorian and attended Tyler Commercial Business College. She was a member of the Greer Blvd. Church of Christ of Pittsburg. She and her husband owned and operated Don Reynolds Flowers and Gifts in Pittsburg for 34 years. She was the executive director for the Pittsburg Housing Authority for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Don Reynolds of Pittsburg; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Robin Reynolds of Pittsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Mark Lawton; two grandsons, Tyler Reynolds and Drew Lawton of Pittsburg; and one granddaughter, Sydney Reynolds of Pittsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Katie Blakeney.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Bowers, Mark Garrett, Phil Garrett, Chuck Johns, Dr. Blair MacBeath, Breck Marshall, Paul R. Mayben and Roger Stansbury.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Crowell, Jerry Green, Erman Smith, Weldon Peck, Jack Thornton and the Cypress Bank employees.
