Genevieve Pauline Reynolds Bennett, 69, Parkersburg, was dead on arrival Saturday at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, following a single-car accident on Seventh Street.
She was a lifelong homemaker and attended Prayer Chapel Church.
She was born in Macfarlan, a daughter of the late Albert H. and Nora Icy Ayers Reynolds.
She is survived by two sons, the Rev. Karol J. "Bear" Bennett, Jr., and Ricky Bennett, both of Parkersburg; four daughters, Nora Anderson, Carolyn Roush, Pamela Bennett and Shelby Bennett, all of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren; five great-grasndchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Karol J. "Tug" Bennett Sr.; one great-grandson, Travis Bennett; nine brothers and three sisters.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Karol Bennett and the Rev. Roy Modesitt officiating. Burial was in the Kanawha Baptist Cemetery.
