Margaret A. Hulser, 90, of Strasburg, died Sunday at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born November 11, 1916 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Hulser, Sr.
Mrs. Hulser was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service during World War II, for W.T. Grant, and also with her husband at the Horn and Hardart Restaurant. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.
Mrs. Hulser is survived by her daughter: Margaret V., wife of Edward A. Littler of Ronks; her son: Edward George Hulser of Mt. Sinai, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hulser is predeceased by three brothers.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Fulton Highway, Quarryville, with Father Ronald Moratelli officiating. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend the viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, ending with a rosary service, as well as one hour prior to the service Friday, all at the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke Street, Lancaster.
