Isabel Remster Farley, 89, of Alloway Township died Monday in The Memorial Hospital of Salem County, Mannington Township. Born in Alloway, daughter of the late Grover R. and Hannah Cook Remster, she was a lifelong resident of Alloway. Mrs. Farley worked as a secretary for DuPont Chambers Work, Deepwater until retiring in 1971 with 29 years of service. She was a member of the Alloway United Methodist Church, DuPont Veteranettes Association, DuPont Pensioners Association, Salem County Historical Society, and the Woodstown and Salem orders of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Farley is survived by her husband, Carlton A. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Thursday in Alloway Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be to the Alloway Township Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 123, Alloway, NJ 08001 or to Alloway Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 644, Alloway, NJ 08001. Arrangements are by H.T. Layton and Son Home for Funerals, Woodstown.
