Mary M. Back Melbourne Mary Marjorie Reiter Hamrick Back was received in Heaven on Sunday, Octo ber 25, 2009 by all her past family and friends. She died at Holmes Medical Center in Melbourne after a sudden illness. She was known to many as Mary or Margie, but loved by everyone. Mary was born June 16, 1923 in Hogsett, WV to James D. and Margaret Wallace Reiter . She was a gradu ate of Boston Business College and worked as a business accountant, but most of her years were spent as a homemaker and wife for her family. She lived many years in the Rome-Proctorville, Ohio area before moving to Mel bourne, FL in 1961. Mary grew up in a very loving family and spent all of her years involved in music for her pleasure and every ones enjoyment. Mary had a natural God-given talent for writing songs, playing many different instruments and sharing Gods talent with everyone. She played many years for the Fellowship Quartet and upon retir ing she continued to play at First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and lived her life for him. She was widowed to James H. Hamrick of Proctorville, Ohio and Wallace Back, Statesville, NC. Also preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Reiter Hamrick and husband Glen. Mary is survived by her daughters, Sandy Hamrick Swartz, husband Larry, and Beverly Hamrick Greenfield, husband Robert; five grandchildren, Colista Swartz, Shelly McMillan (Sandys), Lynn Rafferty, Ronnie Rafferty, Bobby Greenfield (Bevs); two great-grandchildren, Austin and Hannah Hopper (Shellys); her brother, James W. Reiter and wife Amy of Barboursville, WV, and many cousins, nieces and nephews in Ohio, WV, TX, NC and FL. The family will receive guests, Thursday, October 29th, 5 - 8 p.m. at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne. Funeral at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Steve Berry officiating at First Free Will Baptist Church, Melbourne. Burial to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
