Patricia Reid Firsching Whitesboro Patricia Reid Firsching, 67, of Whitesboro, passed away unexpectedly, at home, on May 26, 2012. She was born September 30, 1944, in Utica, a daughter of John and Thelma Mahoney Reid. Patricia was a graduate of Whitesboro Central High School. On October 4, 1962, she married Fred G. Firsching in St. Pauls Church, a blessed union of nearly 50 years. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family. Pats faith as a devout Catholic was central to her life. She was a lifelong member of St. Pauls Church, Whitesboro. She is survived by her husband, Fred; three children and their spouses, Fred and Donna Firsching, New Hartford, Patty Firsching Maurer, Westmoreland, and John and Wendy Firsching, Westmoreland; grandchildren, Fred and Sarah Firsching, Rachael Maurer, and Justin and Sean Firsching; her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Ted Achen; sister-in-law, Camille Reid; brothers-in-law, Bill Alexander, John Firsching and Jerry Firsching; many nieces and nephews; and her loyal canine companion, Bandit. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Mary and Margaret; and a brother, Joseph. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and other healthcare professionals who cared for her, as well as her dear friends, especially Jeff and Donna Davis and Beverly Bungert. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., from Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, Forty Main Street, Whitesboro, and 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 16 Park Ave., Whitesboro, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
