Ruby Esther born Feb. 15, 1917,was the middle daughter of Ernest Reichenau and Amelia Gross. Her sisters were Setna Ida and Annette Marie. Ruby was born in Mason Co, Texas. Her parents bought a ranch in Little Saline Community in Menard County, Texas and they moved there about 1918. She and her sisters attended the Little Saline Community School.
Ruby married Alexander Chester "Alex" Arhelger Jr. June 21, 1941 in Mason, Mason Co., Texas. They lived in Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, Texas. They had only one daughter Carole.
