Lilly "Pauline" Reger Carper Naylor, 97, of Looneyville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 after a short illness. Pauline was born Dec. 10, 1918.
In addition to her parents, Homer and Ethel Reger of Charles Fork, and two brothers and sisters, she was also preceded in death by her son, Rowland Carper of Ripley.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: daughter, Ethel and husband, Jerry Richards, of Looneyville, with whom she lived with for 25 years, and also sons, James "Jim" Carper of Speed and Earless Carper of Looneyville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lilly Pauline to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25387.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at the funeral home with Minister Loren Price and singing by the David Bowen family. Burial will be held at Clover Cemetery.
