MISS MARGARET W. REESE AND CLAUDE COCHRAN ARE WED

WIDELY KNOWN LAWYER HERE HAS CEREMONY AT CHURCH IN NEW YORK

Vows Spoken Immediately After Arrival of Bride From Europe
------------------
A wedding of outstanding interest to society was that of Miss Margaret Wadsworth Reese to Mr. Claude Cochrane, both of Charlotte, which was quietly solemnized in New York yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at the chapel of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian church. Dr. M. C. Morgan, co-pastor, performed the ceremony.

The wedding took place soon after Miss Reese landed yesterday morning from Paris where she had been for the last two months. Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane are at the Plaza hotel. On their arrival in Charlotte they will make their home at the Addison apartments on East Morehead street.

The bride is the only daughter of the late Algernon B. Reese and Mrs. Mamie Wadsworth Reese of this city. She was graduated from the Presbyterian college, now Queens, and afterwards was graduated from the Presbyterian hospital training school in New York. During the past several years she has spent the winters in New York with her brother, Dr. Algernon B. Reese, Jr., and her summers traveling in Europe.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Cochrane, of Starr, N.C. He was graduated from the University of North Carolina and from the University Law school. During the World War he served overseas as captain of infantry in the Eighty-First division. Mr. Cochrane is one of Charlotte's leading attorneys. He was formerly president of the Southern Manufacturers club and is also a member of the Charlotte Country club and is city attorney. He is one of the city's most popular young men.

Mrs. A. A. McGeachy, who recently returned home after spending a month with Miss Reese in Paris went to New York to be present at the marriage. She will return home Thursday.
