Ivan Adams and Cloris were united in marriage on May 20, 1945 in Beverly and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. Cloris worked as a C.N.A. at the former Crestview Nursing Home and she was a home...maker. She was also a member of the Tescott United Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother Arthur Stanley Rees; and granddaughter Elizabeth Huiett.
Survivors include her children Leroy Adams and his wife Deanna "Dee", Donald Adams and his wife Lila, and Madonna Huiett all of Tescott; brother Harvey Rees and his wife Ramona of Beverly; sister Yolanda Dow of El Reno, OK; sister-in-law Carol Rees of Huntington Beach, CA; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M., Friday at the Tescott United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Ottawa County Health Center Long Term Care.
