OBITUARY
POCATELLO - Jannette Baker, 57, passed away October 30, 2009, at a local medical center.
She was born June 29, 1952, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Paul Roland Rees and Edith Rose (Pannell) Rees. She was raised and educated in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High School at the age of 17.
She married Kay Baker on October 29, 1969. They were blessed with three children, Billie, Jeremy, and Michael.
Jannette was a wonderful homemaker, staying home to care for her three children, later her grandchildren, a husband, and a son-in-law.
She attended the First Assembly of God in Pocatello and also the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jannette loved to have fun with her grandkids, sisters and brothers. She loved music and TV video games. Her interests included dancing, bowling, but she especially loved to cook homemade bread and chili for her family. She loved the color purple and jewelry. If you tried to tear Mom away from WWE Wrestling, you could be the next victim.
She is survived by her husband, Kay Baker, Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Billie K. (Stephen) Read, Pocatello; sons, Jeremy K. Baker, Michael (Jamie) Baker, all of Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren, Michael Baker, Michigan, Bethaney, Samantha, Sebastian and Vincent Baker, all of Jerome, Idaho, T.J. and Ethan Baker of Pocatello, Idaho. She is also survived by her siblings, Lolita (Wes) Russell, Nev., Annie Colwell, Twin Falls, Idaho, Cheryl McNeil, Linda Sue (Monty) Edwards, Rosanna (Bill) Holmquist, Perry (Connie) Rees, all of Pocatello, Idaho, Peggy Spraker, Richard Rees, both of California, Loretta Newbold, Pocatello, Idaho; sisters-in-law, Carol Colwell, Sandra (Daray) Clark, Barbara and Becky Baker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Rose Rees, her dad, L.N.
