Mrs. Grace Brooks, 57, wife of John E. Brooks, of 81 Bank st., died Monday at Riverview hospital, where she was taken after a heart attack while waiting for a bus on Shrewsbury ave. She was born at Williamsburg, Va., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Reed, and had been a resident of Red Bank more than 35 years. Mrs. Brooks was a member of the choir of Calvary Baptist church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a brother, Raymond Reed of Toano, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. Ivory Robinson of Williamsburg and Mrs. Myrtle Williams of New York city.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Calvary Baptist church, with Rev. Robert Gilchrist, pastor, officiating. Burial, under the direction of the Harris funeral home, will be in White Ridge cemetery, Eatontown.
