The funeral of Charles Reed, the young man drowned in Cheyenne Lake Friday afternoon, occurred from the residence of his father, H. F. Reed, on South Cascade avenue. The attendance was very large and the services impressive. The funeral of Charles Hendrickson, the other unfortunate, occurred Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of his parents, 323 South Cascade avenue.
There seems to be conflicting evidence as to whether the skaters were warned about the conditions of the ice, and in view of this Coroner Marlow Saturday summoned the following jury to investigate the deaths: Sylvester Johnson, Rev. E.E. Carrington, A.C. Kern, D.W. Robbins, Albert Matthews, J.F. Pracht. The jury reviewed the remains, and will hold the inquest tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
