Cynthia Reed Hayes, 43, of Asheville, died on Monday, April 6, 2009, at Memorial Campus Mission Hospitals.
A native of Buncombe Co., Cynthia was a daughter of Patricia Lyda Rich and the late David Bruce Reed. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Garvis and Gladys Reed.
She was a loving mother, daughter, and granddaughter. Cynthia will be missed by all.
Cynthia is survived by her mother, Patricia; daughter, Christina Hayes; son, Austin Hayes; and maternal grandmother, Elsie Ingle.
A funeral service for Cynthia will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, in Black Mountain.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
