Mrs. T.E. Stair Dead.

Mrs. Thelda E. Stair, 610 Arundel, died this morning at 3:15 o'clock in St. Mary's hospital, after a week's illness.

Mrs. Stair, whose maiden name was Delia Rector, was born in Neosho Rapids, April 11, 1904. She came to Emporia six years ago. She was married to Thelda Stair, July 1, 1923, in Emporia. Mr. Stair and three children, Leta June, Maxine and Donald LeRoy survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Carey, 127 South Market; Mrs. Frank White, 201 Sylvan; two brothers, Archie Rector, Eureka, and Ray Rector, who is in the army, also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Rev. Earl Porter will conduct the services. Interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery.

Funeral of Mrs. Stair.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelda E. Stair, who died Monday morning in St. Mary's hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at the home, 610 Arundel. Rev. Earl Porter conducted the services. Mrs. Lloyd Hopkins, Mrs. George Nevitt, Paul McIlvain and John McIlvain sang. The pallbearers were: Earl Randolph, Albert White, M. Z. Bond. Boyd Smith, Alva Stinson and Elwin Merwin. Interment was made in Maplewood cemetery.
