William T. Recknagel, 81, retired farmer and life resident of Walworth County, died unexpectedly this morning in Lakeview Hospital, Milwaukee. Born April 28, 1884, the son of Rudolph and Bertha Brown Recknagel, he was employed 11 years at Dickermann Garage before farming. He married Esther Stobber June 20, 1928, and they retired in 1950. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Church, the Rev. Harry Wiedmann officiating, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Anderson Memorial Home.
